Ayumi set for Clay court Season

Ayumi just got done with Fed Cup play this week. Team Japan lost the tie to Slovenia as Ayumi lost both her singles matches on clay. Ayumi will next play at Esotril, Portugal in a week. She will also play in Strausborg, and Madrid before the 2010 French Open.

 Ayumi advances to 2nd Round. 

Ayumi defeated Sesil Karentcheva today in the first round at Ponte Verde Beach today! The final score was 6-3,2-6,6-2. Ayumi will next play Canada's Alexsandra Wozniak for a place in the quarter-finals.

 Ayumi will play a qualifier this week at Ponte Verde Beach in the first round.
